PTFA
Our Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is made up of a dynamic team of parents/carers, friends of the school, and teachers, who work together as a community to raise money for the school. We have regular fundraising events throughout the year and hold events for our pupils to enrich their school life.
The PTFA has been in existence far longer than anyone can remember, so well over 20 years and in that time it has raised tens of thousands of pounds for our pupils. Recently, the PTFA has paid for all sorts of events and equipment for the school including adventure play equipment, forest school funding, iSing Pop, sports team uniforms, theatre productions, guest visitors, Y6 leavers celebrations, Christmas crackers, rainy day games for classrooms and presents from Father Christmas!
None of the fundraising is possible without the support of parents and carers – each and every one of us are members (which means the PTFA exceeds 400 members) but currently only a handful actively help out with the planning, organising and doing. The more hands on board, the less we all need to do or commit to. We are all busy people but collectively we are a force to be reckoned with, with an outstanding set of skills and knowledge between us to bring to the PTFA table, so please consider getting involved.
