We believe here at the Rosary School that good pastoral care is the essential foundation upon which learning can take place. Pastoral care is our provision to ensure the physical and emotional welfare of our pupils.
Our provision is an expression of a caring partnership between staff, pupils and parents/carers. Hannah Matarazzo is our Pastoral Care Lead but, importantly, we have a whole school strategic approach, to ensure that our school promotes tolerance, resilience, and fairness through the whole learning community.
Safeguarding is a big part of pastoral care in our school. Safeguarding is about protecting children, preventing abuse and ensuring safety. We are the voice for our children - whether it is advocating for them in meetings, or helping them to communicate their feelings to staff or parents.
If you have any worries or challenges in school or at home, please get in touch. We are here to support both you and your child.
Below you will find some helpful resources designed to help parents support their children and families - in good times and bad - throughout their education at the Rosary School. Our Pastoral Lead regularly updates this page with relevant information, events and links.
