Summer Activities

Maypole Youth Group Lunch Club

Every Friday during the school holidays, starting 26th July, from 10am til 2pm, there will be an opportunity for parents with pre-school and school aged children to meet for friendship, fun and food (a sandwich lunch), at the Parish Hall of The Immaculate Conception Church.

Mr Johnson will lead some activities for school aged children, while parents relax and enjoy each others' company. There will be toys provided for the pre-schoolers to play with. All Rosary School families are welcome.


Marah Trust Drop Ins

On Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3pm, Marah run a drop in at the Scout Hut on Chapel Street in Stroud. On Saturdays, it is at Stroud Baptist Church Hall in Union Street. For further information you can contact The Marah Office on 01453 367006.

The Drop-in offers:

  • Free nutritious hot meals
  • A listening ear
  • Friendship and support
  • Help with form filling and letter writing
  • Support with housing applications
  • Support with accessing support and treatment for addiction
  • Access to advocacy services on Monday and Wednesday Drop-in


Stratford Park - Museum in the Park

There is a packed programme of family craft workshops, trails and meet the curator afternoons planned this summer at the Museum in the Park. Some of the events include Magical Mosaics, a moth evening, an outdoor theatre show, and a celebration of British archaeology. Check out the calendar on the Museum's website for further details.
