 Welcome to Year two!

Teacher: Mrs Tyler

Teaching Assistant: Mrs Reader

What a busy first term we've had! We certainly managed to cram a lot in! We had a great time finding out about all different Wonder Women and how they've had an impact in science and in our history. We learnt about the awesome Amelia Earhart and found out all about her treacherous journey around the world. Mrs Armitage was our brilliant story and we learnt to retell it and even invented our own versions! We loved 'blinging' our bikes just like her! Our trip to We the Curious was great fun and we tested lots of different materials as well as exploring all the brilliant science at the museum. We have also learnt all about our brains this term and have been trying really hard to have a 'growth mindset' - or be a purple learner. This means we always try our best, look out for our mistakes and try and try and try again!
