Sporting Triumph!

Building on from our incredibly successful performance at District Sports, we had a great Sports Day on Wednesday 6th July. After a 10-station event in the morning, the day finished off with our races. The sporting level and teamwork was fantastic and you could see the improvements made this year, thanks to the work that Mr Tanner and all the teachers have done. It was the closest event we have had in recent years, with only 6 points separating all 4 teams! In the end, Glastonbury were successful, beating Lourdes by just 1 point! Well done to all children, the future is very bright for Rosary School athletes!

District Sports

Congratulations to all our athletes who represented the Rosary School at the Field and Track events over the past 2 weeks. We were in 3rd position after the throwing and jumping events. In the running races yesterday, we had lots of finalists and top 3 places, which helped us to win by 2 points out of the 14 schools participating, our first ever time as outright champions! Well done Poppy, Mae P., Maya, Zack, Chace, Darcy, Sasha, Eoin, Kabila, Nicola, Jacob, Riley, Alex S., Daniel, Isobel, Sofia F., Jennifer, Eve M., Aiden, Kyle, Eve C., Callum, Harvey and Jordan-amazing effort from you all! Also, thank you Mr Cox and Mr Tanner for your coaching and Miss Walker for your support too.
